Missing Japan

Boy do I miss Japan a little.

I am done.

I am home and done.

Harajuku and Chery Blossoms

Just went to Harajuku where the have the Gothic people. When you get there you walk into Yogoi park where the Meiji Jungu Shrine is and a beautiful garden area. It was a really nice time and they are planning to put the Olympic events there if they get the bid for 2016. Really nice place.

We also went to Ueno Park to check out the Cherry Blossoms since they have already started and oh my gosh were they so beautiful. I just love this time of year in Japan. Not too hot and humid and not too cold either.

Best time to come to Japan and see the sights except for the winter festival.

Sushi Night Out

Just went out for sushi last night with the USO to an outstanding place that I have been several times before with some close personal friends.

The Salmon is one that they cut up for us to show us how they do it.

This was a truly a fun time.

Sushi Tomorrow

I am going to see how to make Sushi tomorrow with a good friend's wife. This should be really good. I will post pictures after the event.

New Blog

A new blog

Well as this blog comes to an end soon, I am thinking about startig a new one about my job hunt. So watch out for it.

Things are going and I just realized that it was a good thing my wife didn't come over here. How else could I see my girlfriend so much. LOL. I think I spent about 18 months out to sea out of 22.

I guess I have been hitting a writer's block for the last six months because when I try to write anything I can't . I can't write my performance evaluation or even a rebuttal for my evaluation. I can't even write on here.

Oh well the joys of being a non literature person.

To make my wife happy

I just put to make my wife happy in the title to give her a hard time. She is on my case because I gave her a hard time about updating her blog. So I guess I should update mine too.

Well I have been having a hard time trying to write anything especially my resume and evaluation. Oh well.

Life is good just counting down the days till I go home and can talk to my family regularly. I also can't wait to catch up with my in-laws since I hardly had time to keep up with them.

Well I need to go do some work before tomorrow.

Enoshima

Outstanding area to visit. I was looking for a lighthouse that was on a map on the train and what do I find but an island with an outstanding view of Mt Fuji. I also went to the lighthouse which was surrounded by a flower garden.

Not too much else going on.
